Performing artist Cyril is taking the world by storm with his cutting-edge style and unparalleled ability, and has quickly established himself as one the hottest stars of magic.

It’s no wonder why Cyril is the most talked about performer in the magic world today.

In February 2009, he completed his fifteenth  two-hour television magic special in Japan… a monumental accomplishment that took  less than 7 short years to achieve. The recipient of numerous awards and countless accolades from his peers, Cyril remains unchanged in his course to bring the art of magic to a level not yet realized by his predecessors.

Cyril is also one of the elite members  of Magic X, a group of 10 of the worlds hottest magicians who destroy the outdated image of the old rabbit and top hat magician, and are changing the way the world looks at magic.

Other than causing heads to turn on television, his magic has been taking the Internet by storm. A simple search online will come up with over 1.25 million hits full of articles or viral videos that anyone can watch.

Cyril is grateful to be one of the busiest magicians in the world today. When he’s not recording for television or feature films, he travels the Orient with his touring show  The Xperience, an extravagant 2-hour live show which in July 2007 completed a six month tour of more than 40 performances in just over 30 cities, each playing to sold out crowds in 1,500 to 2,500 capacity seat theaters with tickets selling out completely  within days of going on sale.  In our modern technological world we encounter special effects and visual tricks in the media daily. What remains timeless is the sense of awe that one experiences when presented face-to-face with phenomena that defy the laws of nature.   The magic of Cyril inspires this awe.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Cyril is an award winning magician. Fascinated with magic as a small boy, Cyril became a junior member of the “Magic Castle“, an internationally respected magic authority based in Hollywood.

Cyril was quickly labeled the world’s first “Cyber Magician” as he gained international popularity by becoming the most downloaded magician on the internet. In 2007, Cyril was recognized by his peers in the magic community at the 39th Annual Academy of Magical Arts Awards in 2007, also known as the “Academy Awards of Magic.” That year, Cyril was voted “Magician of the Year”, putting him in company of past winners including icons such as David Copperfield and Seigfreid & Roy.

In the last year, Cyril has traveled to more than 35 cities throughout Japan performing his live shows to sold out audiences and is now preparing his first live show tour in Asia. In February 2009, his 15th Japanese primetime television.

AXN special aired on leading Japanese broadcaster, Fuji TV, which was among the highest rated programs of the evening. In November 2009, in partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks Asia’s AXN network, Cyril executive produced and starred in a 3 part English language television special titled “Cyril, Simply Magic”, for the Asian audience. It was a ratings success in the region, and AXN and Cyril are currently preparing for a second series scheduled to air in November 2010.
