Dear friends,
Japan was struck with a big earthquake (I was told 8.9) earlier today. Without warning and within 10 minutes, the first Tsunami hit our shores of Japan and causing major catastrophe. We are currently still experience aftershocks every once in a while.
All phone lines (including mobile phones) are down and so I wanted to send this quick note to inform you that those around me (including myself) are ok. Japan is far from being fine though… my heart goes out to all those being affected by this national disaster.
I will try to keep you all posted again.

Heard the news about this and was reallly shocked about this. The magnitude of this earthquake was insanely high too. Tv news and internet news are everywhere reporting this now. Breaking news.

I know Japan peoples are fear in this disaster. from news it is very scary. 8.9 was rather high level and occurred Tsunami together!!!

I feel for the tragedy that people in Japan are experiencing.
Eventhough Japan is hightech and self-sufficient, help from other nations is still needed for faster recovery. The damages along the coast is unbelievable! Lots of disasters are happening all over the world in such short timeframes.

Cyril, i am really very sad here, sometimes nature seems too good and sometimes it hurts really. May God help them who have been affected by this disaster.

Stay safe you, your friends and you family! Try to go south at least for the next 2-3 weeks if you can. I can’t believe in 2011 we still have need for human being to sacrifice their life to cool down at that rate of radioactivity…Increadible courage from those people…It’s sad. Hope help and donation will arrive ASAP!
