My first paying job was for a ball room dance event in which I believe I was 14 years old. I asked my cheerleader friend from high school to assist me and we did a 5 minute routine together in middle of the dance floor. I remember being dressed in an oversized tailed tuxedo, performed with music, had silks and doves, and made my pet bunny appear at the end. I got paid $50. Split it with my assistant!
